Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including brake jobs, slack adjuster replacement, and wheel end adjustments. Perform preventive maintenance inspections, examine system parts for damage or leaks, and replace structural deficiencies or safety devices. Accurately complete DOT forms, work orders, and all associated documentation in a timely fashion. This role requires Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification and at least one year of diesel mechanic experience. Candidates must follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
- Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
