Job Summary
Greet guests on the phone and in-person while projecting a professional image, then check-in golfers and communicate critical information to the Starter and other staff. Maximize daily sales through effective tee sheet management and reconcile daily figures for sales, league registrations, and event entries. Clean golf carts after usage, assist Golf Maintenance staff as needed, and ensure building and work areas remain organized in a safe, positive atmosphere. Adhere strictly to safety manuals and policies, and follow established procedures for opening and closing the facility. This part-time role requires 20-40 hours weekly with a variable schedule Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge of golf operations
- Delivering of exceptional guest services
- Computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable source of transportation
- Ability to work a variable schedule

- Effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing with supervisor, staff and public
- Ensures that the building and work areas are maintained and organized professionally and in a positive and safe atmosphere
- Understanding the importance of safety issues at the Park District
- Adhering to the safety manual and associated policies toward achieving the safety goals of the Park District
- Follow procedures for opening and closing the facility
