Job Summary
Greet guests on the phone and in-person while projecting a professional image, then check-in golfers and communicate tee sheet details to the Starter and other staff. Maximize daily sales through effective tee sheet management and reconcile daily sales, league registrations, and event entries. Assist Outside Service, Food and Beverage, and Golf Maintenance staff as needed while maintaining organized building and work areas. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors, staff, and the public, and adhere to safety policies by reporting unsafe conditions and documenting incidents. Follow procedures for opening and closing the facility, working a variable schedule of 16-32 hours per week Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge of inside golf operations
- Delivering of exceptional guest services
- Computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable source of transportation
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal communications
- Ability to recognize and demonstrate sound safety measures
- Ability to reason; process information and make informed rational judgements
- Seeing: To view a computer monitor and other written material
- Hearing: For safety awareness, to effectively communicate with public and staff
- Speaking: To effectively communicate with public and staff
- Sitting: To operate computer, attend meetings, etc
- Standing: To observe patrons and staff
- Walking: To stage golf carts, etc
- Handling: Writing instruments or computer keyboard, cash register
- Running: Running maybe required to assist a guest
- Lifting: Lifting maybe required to move supplies and equipment
- Stooping: Stooping maybe required to help a patron, clean facility or pick up supplies or equipment
- Climbing: To climb ladders, hills and stairs
- Work requires exposure to a wide range of weather and environmental conditions, early mornings and late nights
- Must be able to work a variable schedule
