Job Summary

Identifies, solicits, and arranges appropriate insurance coverage for clients, serving as an intermediary between the Agent and the Insurance Company for business renewal and growth. Drives new and renewal business, develops and maintains relationships with clients and agents, solicits and markets new business, negotiates terms and coverages, and monitors accounts for compliance. Requires leadership and teamwork skills, knowledge of the insurance industry, and the ability to analyze policies effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
  • Three years of experience of wholesale insurance experience or its equivalent
  • Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
  • Must be able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
  • Ability to understand the client's needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated
  • Ability to review information, make decisions and manage time effectively
  • Recognize new trends and developments in the insurance industry and be able to incorporate that into your strategy
  • Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies
  • Leadership and team playing skills
  • Must possess and maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary
  • Maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of clients, Agents, and new business
