Job Summary
The Account Specialist sells to existing customers in core (mid potential) and pursues new opportunities passed by the lead generation team. Responsibilities include contacting potential customers, handling needs of existing customers, and closing sales; promoting services and products as an EIS brand ambassador; facilitating fabrication and sales activities such as price quotes and processing new orders; managing accounts in an inside sales environment; pursuing leads from pipelines and campaigns; contributing to lead generation to qualify prospects; promoting new products and campaigns; building relationships with core vendors; collaborating with operations and fabrication teams to support sales processes and customer service; providing weekly/monthly sales and gross profit forecast updates; utilizing SAP data to target opportunities and track sales, revenue goals, and backlogs; managing CRM data and pipeline tracker for follow-ups and closings; collaborating with Inside End Market Specialist as needed to serve customers with industry/product expertise.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within sales/business development with a converter.
- Bachelors degree in business or a related field required
- At least 1 year of previous key accounts experience
- General mathematic and problem-solving skills
- Must maintain a positive attitude and mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication
