Job Summary
Inside Account Executive - Architecture at Cisco Security focused on building executive relationships and driving double-digit revenue growth by positioning Cisco's security portfolio, leading security account plans, cross-selling across Cisco solutions, and collaborating with channel partners. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities within assigned regions, leveraging resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services, Cisco on Cisco), forecasting activities in Salesforce, and tailoring pricing/configurations to customer needs while aligning with MEDDPICC practices. Preferred qualifications emphasize security domain knowledge, experience selling network security and SaaS security offerings, managing large deals, and building cross-geography account plans. The role requires 5+ years of sales experience with 3+ years in security solutions and strong channel and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to selling security solutions
- Experience managing sales through channels and building and growing channel relationships to sell Security products
- Experience managing the full sales cycle: prospecting to closing deals
- Highly motivated with a competitive nature, tenacity, and drive
- Excellent communication and time management skills, adept at prioritizing multiple tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Security Market
- Experience in selling network security solutions (e.g., Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN) and SaaS security offerings
- Experience in managing large deals and executing account and partner plans across geographic territories
- Capable of building and implementing an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach
- MEDDPICC knowledge is a plus
