Job Summary
Inside Account Executive - Architecture role focused on cross-architecture opportunities within Cisco’s portfolio, owning lead generation, demand generation, and qualification activities for a defined subset of architecture or service bookings. Develops pipeline, grows new and existing accounts through up/cross selling, supports direct sellers and solution selling, and coordinates with partners to drive opportunities. Maintains understanding of Cisco’s full product portfolio, analyzes data and forecasts, and collaborates across customer Engagement and Internal Sales processes. Balances time between customers and internal teams, participates in the proposal stage, and navigates finance and procurement workflows to push deals through contracting. Requires strong relationship-building with customers and partners, collaboration within the pod, and the ability to articulate Cisco’s value propositions using standard methodologies. The role is virtual-based with occasional travel (1-2 times per quarter) for critical opportunities, top accounts, and partner meetings, and involves managing a pipeline, forecast accuracy, and CRM updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 years of related experience (minimum)
