Job Summary
Inshop Crew Member at Jimmy John’s responsible for fast-paced sandwich preparation, customer service, taking orders over the phone, operating the register, maintaining a clean environment, prepping product, and performing other tasks inside the restaurant. Must greet and thank customers, foster teamwork, adhere to food safety guidelines, and handle cash during lunch rush. The role involves lifting 30-40 lbs, standing/bending/reaching, and working in cold storage areas. Flexible daytime availability to handle high-volume lunches in a Freaky Fast environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
- Day-time availability and be able to work high volume lunches
- Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
