Insert Tech I (Temporary Assignment -6 months)

Fabricate inserts, support set-up, inspect fixtures, and perform assemblies' operations following Cooper Vision Inc. procedures. Prioritize work to maintain production in manufacturing areas and support the leader in achieving delivery dates. Utilize advanced metrology to ensure machined components meet sub-micro surface finishes and sub-10 micron dimensional tolerances. Operate metrology and inspection equipment to obtain excellent quality results while adhering to SOPs and working instructions. Develop more efficient manufacturing methods using experience in advanced insert production. Ensure business schedules, production requirements, quality, cost, and safety outcomes are always achieved. Maintain effective communication with the workshop leader, coordinator, and fellow insert makers while remaining health and safety conscious and flexible to serve company needs.
