Job Summary
Operate inserting machines to produce materials while following standard work procedures and QC protocols. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup adjustments to ensure optimum print quality and minimize downtime. Complete all logs, paperwork, and computer functions including MRDF and DCS systems. Collaborate with assistants and other departments to maintain workflow efficiency and 5S standards. Recognize errors early to reduce rework and ensure safety compliance. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to read and write in English
- Must have basic computer skills
- Understanding of workflows
- Comprehension of job tickets
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Frequent hearing
- Talking
- Must be able to stand and move for long hours
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
- 6:00AM to 2:00PM
Desired Qualifications
- vocational or technical school diploma or certificate
- Previous experience in a mail facility
- working knowledge of high-volume/high-speed inserting machines such as Pitney Bowes or Bell and Howell
- Familiarity with operation, minor setup adjustments, and safety protocols of inserting machines
