Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate wound ostomy care for patients within established standards of nursing. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual preferences. Requires independent practice with strong clinical judgment; BSN required with WOCN/WO certification preferred. Monday–Friday daytime shifts (7:30 AM–5:00 PM).
Required Qualifications
- BSN required
- RN
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's
- Monday–Friday daytime schedule
- 8-hour shifts (between 7:30 AM–5:00 PM)
- Requires independent practice
