Inpatient Wound Ostomy (RN) (FT) (Days)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate wound ostomy care for patients within established standards of nursing. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develop individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient preferences and cultural values. Work Monday through Friday daytime shifts with 8-hour rotations between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM. A BSN is required, with WOCN/WO certification preferred.
