Job Summary
Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive wound care on an inpatient unit, serves as a clinical resource to staff, educates patients and families on ulcer prevention and treatment, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to implement wound management plans, uphold standards, and participate in quality improvement. Responsibilities include prevention and treatment of pressure and vascular ulcers, dressing wound care, monitoring patient outcomes, maintaining data/reports, and ensuring safe, policy-compliant care within budget and staff productivity constraints. Requires an active RN license and BLS; BSN or Associate degree is preferred. Must be physically able to perform CPR and work full-time weekdays with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Wound Care certification preferred (not required)
- BSN degree or Associate degree preferred
