Job Summary
The IPU Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the 12-bed inpatient unit, driving exceptional patient care, team engagement, and operational excellence. This role includes leading and developing staff, managing staffing and scheduling, conducting clinical supervisory observations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. A strong focus on employee engagement, performance management, and collaboration with Human Resources is essential. Candidates must demonstrate leadership ability, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a commitment to the core values of integrity, compassion, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity or critical care setting
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current Florida Driver’s License
- Valid auto insurance and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred
- CHPN certification preferred
