Inpatient Surgical (RN) (PT) (Days or Nights) (Saint Louis)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of post-surgical patients on the 68-bed Inpatient Surgical floor, including those in the 10-bed Surgical Complex wing. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual preferences. Provide direct patient care activities in a Magnet® designated environment at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
