Inpatient Surgical (RN) (FT) (Days or Nights)

Provides direct patient care activities on the Inpatient Surgical floor, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care; promotes patient and family centered care; educates patients and families on post-treatment home care needs and medication administration; participates in activities to promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; develops and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family; uses nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; recognizes patient values, culture, and population-specific needs; considered a safety-sensitive position.
