Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and appropriate service goals. Comply with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while maintaining effective relationships with peers and external stakeholders. Participate in mentoring students and new hires, attend interdisciplinary meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model. This role is located at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a scheduled weekly commitment of 30 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
