Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting with patients, families, and caregivers. Deliver quality, patient-centered care through skilled clinical services utilizing evidence-based practices and appropriate service intensity. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in patient care conferences, and mentor students and new hires. Comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while meeting established productivity standards. Maintain effective communication with peers and stakeholders, promote Intermountain Health's mission, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and ASHA CCC preference. Located at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with 30 weekly hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current licensure in state of practice

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
