Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care and participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and staff meetings. Provide skilled clinical services using evidence-based practices, maintain effective communication with peers and external stakeholders, and mentor students and new hires. Comply with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while meeting established productivity standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model and engage in continuing education opportunities.
