Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and appropriate service intensity. Comply with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while maintaining effective communication with peers and internal and external stakeholders. Participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives under the Intermountain Operating Model. Mentor and supervise students and new hires while promoting continuing education opportunities for self and staff. Maintain licensure in the state of practice and meet established productivity standards.
