Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing for patients. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Provide skilled clinical services using evidence-based practices and participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentoring and supervision of students and new hires are included, alongside compliance with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
