Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care by participating in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and staff groups. Provide skilled clinical services utilizing evidence-based practices, maintain effective communication with peers and external stakeholders, and mentor students and new hires. Comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while meeting established productivity standards. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities aligned with licensure requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current licensure in state of practice

Desired Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
