Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and appropriate service goals. Comply with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, while participating in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor students and new hires, promote continuing education, and meet established productivity standards. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and ASHA CCC preference. Located at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a scheduled weekly workload of 30 hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current licensure in state of practice

Desired Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
