Job Summary
Pediatric Social Worker (LCSW) for Inpatient units and Emergency Department on a PRN, weekday daytime schedule. Provides psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, and resource coordination to support patient health and family needs. Acts as liaison for child protective services and law enforcement, documents services, collaborates with interdisciplinary team, and participates in program initiatives. Requires MSW and eligible LCSW; preferred experience in medical/pediatric settings; must obtain Georgia LCSW within 90 days. Proficiency with hospital systems (e.g., EPIC, Voalte) and strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. Location-based duties center around Children’s Scottish Rite Hospital in Georgia, with hospital-based, in-person responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work from an accredited graduate school
- Georgia or other state Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Must be eligible for and obtain Georgia LCSW within 90 days of employment
- Three years of experience in postgraduate social work preferred in medical setting with children/families
