Job Summary
Schedulers and dispatchers coordinate 24/7 dialysis patient treatments across contracted hospitals/facilities, liaising with physicians, hospital partners, and patient-care staff to ensure timely, compliant scheduling by modality. Responsibilities include prioritizing incoming calls, dispatching staff (RN, CCHT, BIOMED, etc.), maintaining a master tracker, coordinating with Biomed for equipment availability and repairs, ensuring adherence to hospital contracts and regional practices, assisting with new hire orientation, generating scheduling reports, supporting billing reconciliation, and upholding compliance and infection-control measures while remaining on-call and flexible to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience or dispatch experience
- Prior scheduling experience in a fast-paced environment desired
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and communication platforms (e.g., Skype, Microsoft Teams)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress healthcare environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
