Job Summary
Inpatient RN in the Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital (Rockford, IL); 100% FTE, 9:00am–7:00pm with sign-on bonus potential and optional on-site daycare and tuition assistance. Responsible for delivering patient-centered perioperative nursing care, leveraging ER/psychiatric nursing experience, maintaining RN licensure in Illinois, and pursuing required certifications (CPR; ACLS preferred). Includes eligibility for shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay within a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement within a shared governance environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois
- Bi-annual CPR certification
- 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting
- Specialty certification in area of concentration (Preferred)
- ACLS certification within two years of hire (9th Floor Only, Preferred)
