Job Summary
Inpatient RN in the NICU (Rockford, IL) – 90% FTE with 3-12 hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays, 7:00 pm–7:30 am. May include up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes shift differentials: $4/hr evening, $5/hr night, $4.25/hr weekend, plus overtime and on-call pay. Responsibilities center on neonatal patient care within UW Health Swedish American Hospital’s NICU. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of an Illinois RN license; CPR every 2 years; NRP by orientation end; STABLE within 1 year; RNC within 3 years. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois
- Bi-annual CPR certification
- NRP by end of orientation
- STABLE certification within 1 year of hire
- RNC certification within 3 years of hire
- HS diploma or equivalent or highest level of completed degree
