Job Summary
Speech Pathologist role in inpatient rehabilitation at Encompass Health. Responsible for evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language treatment plans; identifying issues and modifying therapy as needed; tracking and documenting patient performance and progress; and celebrating patient victories. Requires state licensure/certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days), and typically a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with field experience). PRN/per diem inpatient opportunity at Lyons, TX with nationwide rehabilitation leader.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
