Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist

Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to restore function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, and cognitive tasks for patients with disease or injury. Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities to progress patients toward goals, and revise plans with patient and family input. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources while collaborating with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs. Document evaluations, sessions, and family education according to departmental guidelines and protocols. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards and infection prevention precautions, and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities. Complete all mandatory education and licensure requirements.
