Job Summary
Occupational Therapist in inpatient rehab assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitation programs to restore or improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Collaborates with physicians on evaluation and discharge planning, documents evaluations and plans per guidelines, provides patient/family education, and ensures follow-up and community resources as appropriate. Maintains ethical standards, confidentiality, effective communication, and participation in meetings and process improvements; works within Wellstar Health System policies to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Required Minimum Education: Bachelors Occupational Therapy or Masters Occupational Therapy
- OT - Occupational Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Basic Life Support
