Inpatient Rehab Nurse Assistant

Provides patient care on an inpatient rehab unit according to the plan of care, including safe mobility, safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, and supporting therapy goals. Serves as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation (in person or via remote video monitoring) to maximize safety. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate unit operations and documents care in the electronic medical record. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification is preferred and BLS is required. Unit focuses on ortho, neurology, and complex medical/surgical rehabilitation with patients transitioning toward home.
