Inpatient Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health RN) AM Shift

Job Summary
Inpatient Behavioral Health RN on AM shift provides psychiatric nursing care, conducts assessments, plans and implements patient care, administers psychotropic medications, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, maintains a safe environment, documents care and progress, and ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and hospital policies. Responsibilities include supervising nursing support staff, facilitating social and emotional needs, coordinating care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records and charts throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university. CPR,Behavior Managing Program (obtained within 30 days upon hire)
- Valid Texas RN license in good standing required. BLS, ACLS, CPI certifications a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting, phone triage, tele-health or case management or combination of education and experience.
- Must be 21 years old or older.
