Job Summary
Provide in-patient psychiatric care with in-person rounding supported by a multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Manage all aspects of psychiatric care consults, holds, and discharge dispositions using the hospital EMR. Offer telehealth services for treating patients via video or phone. Support Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia, CA, with a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule (8AM to 5PM) including at least one weekend rotation monthly. This full-time 1099 Independent Contractor role offers clinical autonomy within a collaborative team approach and includes an opportunity for research.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child or Adult Psychiatrist
- Availability to provide telehealth services, treating patients via video/phone
- Equipped to manage all aspects of Psychiatric care consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition
- Utilizing the hospital EMR
- Work Schedule: Flexible Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM and at least 1 weekend a month
- 1099 Independent Contractor
