Inpatient Psychiatrist - Lebanon, NH

Provide clinical and related administrative services to Dartmouth-Hitchcock patients, including reviewing medical histories, determining diagnoses and treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting results. Prescribe medications within specialty scope, obtain informed consent, initiate referrals and admissions, and provide consultation, education, and counseling for acute and chronic illnesses. Complete documentation in a timely manner while supervising APPs and participating in quality and patient safety initiatives. Rotate call coverage with colleagues for nights, weekends, and holidays, remaining in close proximity as directed. Lead resident conferences, train students, and participate in clinical trials or research as assigned by the Department Chair.
