Inpatient Physical Therapist - Casual/PRN

Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe mobility, functional independence, and successful discharge planning. Support patients and the team while enjoying flexibility to work across a variety of clinical areas in our inpatient rehab setting. This casual/PRN role requires a minimum of two weekend shifts per month, one holiday weekend, and additional weekday shifts based on department needs. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission of Accredited Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong team orientation
- Familiarity with items found in a typical PT (e.g., weights, exercise bikes, gait belts, ultrasound, traction, ambulatory devices, mats, etc.)
- Currently licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later)
- Minimum scheduling commitment of two weekend shifts per month and one holiday weekend
- Additional weekday shifts may be available based on department needs
