Job Summary
Inpatient phlebotomist responsible for collection and transportation of patient specimens for clinical laboratory testing, adhering to department policies; perform, evaluate, and report patient specimens using point-of-care instrumentation; demonstrate professional behavior and provide excellent customer service; may process/distribute specimens for testing; shift includes early hours with varying days; training provided with eventual transition to regular shift. Priority consideration given to applicants with phlebotomy work experience or completed phlebotomy coursework with hands-on training; phlebotomy certification (ASCP PBT) preferred.

- Effective written and oral communication skills required
