Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the Inpatient Pharmacy Technician compounds and prepares medications, maintains drug inventory and records, and processes patient charge documents. Responsibilities include filling physician orders, preparing sterile products according to USP 797 standards, and ensuring stock control of medications. Must possess current pharmacy technician certification, Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration, and demonstrate proficiency in mathematics and critical thinking. High school diploma required; two years of experience preferred. Ability to work under minimum supervision and maintain punctual attendance is essential.
