Job Summary
Inpatient Pharmacy Technician 2, PRN shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) with every other weekend requirement, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist. Prepares medication orders, assists in dispensing and transporting medications, conducts sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, uses automated/electronic systems, maintains documentation, supports inventory activities, and pursues proficiency in compounding sterile preparations or other advanced skills. Eligible candidates are national certified pharmacy technicians with prior pharmacy experience and an active State Board registration.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- State Board Pharmacy Registration
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- <2 years experience
- Ability to perform sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Knowledge of Pyxis, electronic medical records, and regulatory documentation
