Job Summary
Oversee daily inpatient pharmacy operations, including medication distribution, sterile compounding, automated dispensing cabinets, controlled substances, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with USP <797>/<800>, Joint Commission standards, and lead optimization of drug purchasing, shortage mitigation, and budget stewardship. Directly manage pharmacy technicians and pharmacists while supporting advanced clinical services and Epic Willow inpatient workflows. Lead medication safety initiatives, formulary management, and P&T Committee activities. Provide hands-on clinical support during high-acuity periods and staff shortages. Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, IT, and hospital leadership to resolve medication-related issues and represent pharmacy leadership on interdisciplinary committees.
Required Qualifications
- Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing
- Pharm D
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Demonstrated leadership in both pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services
- Experience managing pharmacy technicians and pharmacists
- BLS - AHA
- ACLS - AHA
Desired Qualifications
