Job Summary
Oversee daily inpatient pharmacy operations, including medication distribution, sterile compounding, automated dispensing cabinets, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with USP <797>/<800> and Joint Commission standards. Directly supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacists, managing hiring, scheduling, training, and performance, while leading medication safety initiatives, adverse drug event reviews, and formulary management. Serve as the primary Epic Willow inpatient pharmacy lead, overseeing order routing, clinical decision support, and workflow optimization. Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, IT, and hospital leadership to resolve medication-related issues and represent pharmacy leadership on interdisciplinary committees.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD
- Active pharmacist license in CO
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Demonstrated leadership in both pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services
- Experience managing pharmacy technicians and pharmacists
- BLS - AHA
- ACLS - AHA
