Job Summary
Clinical inpatient pharmacist providing pharmaceutical care to patients at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID. Supports emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and critical care; prepares pharmaceutical products with safe and cost-effective methods; contributes to quality assurance and risk management; precepts residents and students; reviews patient history and provides education for optimum outcomes; supervises technicians and pharmacy support staff. Requires PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Idaho licensure, 2+ years inpatient acute care experience, and BLS within 6 months (ACLS/PALS may be accepted). Relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
- Licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy
- Residency preferred
- At least two years of inpatient, acute care experience as a pharmacist required
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 6 months of hire (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)
