Job Summary
Inpatient Pharmacist position at North Hospital in Carmel, IN. Full-time rotating shift. Provides comprehensive, value-based medication-related care to improve patient outcomes; collaborates with other healthcare professionals; processes and dispenses medications per order; conducts medication therapy monitoring; ensures regulatory compliance; oversees pharmacist extenders and medication security; supports medical and nursing staff with medication information; ensures continuity of care and addresses medication-related issues. Role may involve travel to IU Health facilities and weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) prior to 2006
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 or PGY2 residency may be required
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Current Indiana Pharmacist license or eligibility for Indiana licensure
- Board certification or other specialized training may be required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association may be required
- May require travel to IU Health facilities
- May require weekend rotations
