Inpatient Pharmacist

Review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems while recommending formulary alternatives. Compound and dispense medications for accurate patient delivery, provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients, and communicate with physicians to facilitate care. Oversee technical personnel for medication preparation and maintenance, assist with academic functions such as precepting pharmacy students, and provide patient counseling when required. This full-time evening role at Mercy Hospital includes 10-hour shifts with every-third weekend and holiday rotations.
