Inpatient Peds- Nights- PRN- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Columbus

Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions on the general pediatrics floor and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, record data, and collaborate with the on-call physician for overnight care. Oversee and participate in care for general and intensive pediatric patients while handling cross-cover calls and assisting with admissions. Initiate or assist in bedside procedures as directed by the physician to expedite patient care. Communicate the plan of care clearly to patient families or caregivers regarding condition or treatment. Provide overnight care supporting admissions from the Pediatric Emergency Room, General Pediatric floor, and/or PICU.
