Job Summary
Inpatient Pediatric Psychiatrist to join Phoenix Children‘s Behavioral Health inpatient service line on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents admitted to the inpatient unit; developing individualized treatment plans with medication management, psychotherapy, and family involvement; providing crisis intervention and monitoring treatment effectiveness; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and offering family education; mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students; and participating in ongoing education and professional activities within pediatric psychiatry.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or eligibility to become certified)
- Valid state medical license to practice psychiatry
