Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations, reevaluations, treatment planning, and discharge planning for referred patients while providing evidence-based care aligned with accreditation and licensing standards. Deliver education and training to patients and families, maintain accurate clinical documentation including conference reports and outcome data, and communicate effectively during team meetings and decision-making processes. Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for new employees and students, actively participate in program development, and pursue continuing education to support professional growth and service improvement. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Professional competency as a general practitioner of occupational therapy
- Demonstrated independent use of varied evaluation and treatment approaches
- May be developing advanced level competencies in one or more aspects of occupational therapy
- DC (District of Columbia) licensure or eligibility
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
