Job Summary
Assist registered nurses with direct and indirect patient care, including activities, personal care, comfort measures, and unit-specific test procedures under supervision. Maintain a safe and clean environment while supporting the nursing and medical staff to provide optimum patient outcomes. Hold current competency as a Nurse Technician and possess Basic Life Support certification prior to start date. Work full-time 7a-7p shifts, including one Saturday monthly, for a physician-owned facility focused on redefining patient experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Maintains current competency as a Nurse Technician as outlined in the department's competency program
- Basic Life Support certification prior to start date, or class to be taken at OSH within 60 days free of charge
- Occupational Experience: Zero to six months prior to experience as a Nurse Aide in a healthcare environment, or completion of a Nurse Aide or EMT training program
- Cognitive, technical and interpersonal skills required to deliver direct and indirect care under the direction of a RN
- Cooperation and strong team focus
- Knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current caregiver practices, which are unit/age specific
- Work 7a-7p, including one Saturday a month
- Work Monday - Friday the first week of employment
- 8-hour day shifts
- Safety sensitive position status (implied by refusal to hire if marijuana test positive under OMMA)
Desired Qualifications
