Job Summary
Evaluate and treat Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting by taking histories, conducting physical examinations, and recording data. Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries while preparing patient workups. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as direct patient care services are delivered. Collaborate with physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers within the Piedmont Heart Institute team. This PRN position includes variable shifts across weekdays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
