Inpatient LVN

Assess the patient's physical, psycho-social, and spiritual condition and contribute to the plan of care in collaboration with an RN. Provide emotional support for patients and families while instructing them in end-of-life care issues. Assist the RN in admission, crisis management, discharge coordination, and managing multiple patients with acute symptoms, including pharmacology. Document nursing care and significant interactions with support persons, then participate in follow-up with bereaved families. Requires Texas LVN licensure, one year of nursing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
