Inpatient LVN

Assess the patient's physical, psycho-social, and spiritual condition; contribute to the plan of care in collaboration with an RN and provide palliative nursing care. Provide emotional support for patients and families while instructing in end-of-life care issues. Assist the RN in admission, crisis management, and discharge coordination, including managing multiple patients with acute symptoms and pharmacology. Document nursing care and significant interactions with support persons and team members. Participate in follow-up with bereaved families. Requires Texas LVN licensure, one year of nursing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Hospice or home health experience is preferred.
